We couldn’t start this edition without mention of the unnatural natural disasters that continue to strike. And the recovery from Hurricane Helene has only begun.
We all know that it's often the small, local nonprofits that are best able to aid their communities because of their deep knowledge of the landscape, both literally and figuratively. Many of these groups quickly spring into action—even as their facilities have been damaged and their staff and volunteers have been affected personally.
To everyone who has been making a difference these past few weeks—and will continue to be instrumental to recovery in the days, weeks, and months ahead—thank you. |
