National Council of Nonprofits Welcomes Sarah Gallagher as new Senior Vice President of Special Projects

The National Council of Nonprofits (NCN) today announced that Sarah Gallagher is joining their team in the newly-created position of Senior Vice President of Special Projects.

“Sarah is a demonstrated coalition-builder, and the timing couldn’t be better for her to join NCN,” said Diane Yentel, President and CEO of NCN. “This is a time when nonprofits must come together and speak loudly to defend our work helping people in communities across the country. I have seen first-hand how effective Sarah is in bringing people and organizations together in pursuit of a common goal. She will be a tremendous addition to NCN’s growing team.”

“NCN’s leadership is inspiring,” said Sarah Gallagher. “The degree of NCN’s impact couldn’t be possible without its work leading and engaging in several coalitions. I’m looking forward to working with NCN’s many partners, and engaging even more groups in this critical work.”

Sarah comes to NCN with more than 25 years of experience in both government and nonprofits, advancing innovative, equitable public policy and programs at the local, state, and national level. Most recently, Sarah was the vice president for state and local innovation at NLIHC working to advance tenant protections, creating and sustaining emergency rental assistance programs, preventing the criminalization of homelessness, and supporting the advancement of housing innovations that seek to keep eviction rates down and prevent homelessness.
