Communications Specialist

Trinity Foreman joined the National Council of Nonprofits in July 2022 and serves as the Communications Specialist. Trinity’s diverse background working in public and nonprofit organizations, in roles ranging from educator, administrator to content creator, guided her to find meaningful work supporting nonprofits via digital and visual communications. Trinity has spent the past decade working with public service in mind at the Science Museum of Virginia, the Maria Mitchell Association in Nantucket, the Cape Eleuthera Institute in The Bahamas, and as a government contractor at NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information.

Trinity has worked on implementing a coral reef outreach education program supported by the Nature Conservancy in The Bahamas at the Cape Eleuthera Institute. Additionally, she played a critical role managing logistics for the 200th birthday for the namesake for the Maria Mitchell Association, America's first female astronomer. In her most recent role as a government contractor at NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information, Trinity helped demystify the data resources of the science data archive and launched a data visualization-focused Instagram account for the organization.

Trinity has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina.
