Nonprofits have immense knowledge and experience on various issues, and should share that knowledge to inform advocacy and policy. 3% or less of nonprofits engage in legislative advocacy, but we are legally allowed to do so. The purpose of this workshop is to introduce the foundations of nonprofit advocacy for organizations interested in started to
do dedicated advocacy or building their existing advocacy work. The target audience is nonprofits of all types and sizes without or with new advocacy programs.
