The West Virginia Nonprofit Association is partnering with Volunteer West Virginia and the Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation to hold the 5th Annual WV Nonprofit Leadership Summit. The Summit provides nonprofit professional staff and volunteers an opportunity to come together to learn, connect, inspire and be inspired. WORKSHOP DESCRIPTIONS

REGISTER FOR THE PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP
Join us the day before the Summit begins, on Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 9 AM – 4PM for “A Groundwater Approach to Racial Equity.” National experts from the Racial Equity Institute will give a presentation on the pervasiveness of systemic racism, why a “groundwater” approach is needed, and facilitate discussions to examine the relevance to our work and next steps. REFUND POLICY
Should your circumstances change and you are unable to attend the Summit, a cancellation fee of $45 will apply to cover costs incurred in relation to your registration. Should you cancel less than 8 days prior to the event (after Sept. 17, 2019), no refund will be issued.

CLOSING KEYNOTE: Jennifer Giovannitti, President of the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation
A former community development manager for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and nationally known policy expert on rural development strategies, Jennifer Giovannitti became the first woman president of the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation last October. Jennifer will deliver our closing keynote address where she will discuss the Benedum Foundation’s investment in West Virginia, the progress that’s been made here, and Benedum’s vision for the future.
