Massachusetts nonprofits could lose up to $513 million a year in donations if tax changes supported by President Donald Trump go into effect, according to a local trade group.
The group, the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network, tallied that figure by looking at four policies that Trump endorsed on the campaign trail: a cap on itemized deductions, cuts to personal income rates, an increase to the size of the standard deduction, and a repeal of the federal estate tax.
