New OT rule could be taxing for nonprofits

A survey by the Washington, D.C.-based National Council of Nonprofits looked at how this will impact nonprofits, which employ 10% of the workforce in the United States. Roughly one third of respondents predict their organizations will have to reduce staff to adjust to new costs and a third further expect they’ll be forced to reduce services, according to the survey, which focused on nonprofits with government grants and contracts.
