Connect with Leading Nonprofit Influencers from Coast to Coast and Border to Border!

June 15, 16, 17 and June 22, 23, 24
Pre-Confab sessions June 2 and 3

Most sessions will be held from 3:00-5:00pm Eastern each day with Reception and social time from 5:00-6:00pm on select days.

The Network Learning Confab is an annual gathering that brings together the leaders of our network of state associations of nonprofits. These leaders represent a collective membership of more than 25,000 nonprofit organizations nationwide.

In 2021, the Confab will once again take place as a series of virtual sessions over a space of a few weeks in June, with pre-sessions on June 2 and 3. Each session will take place at around 3:00-5:00pm Eastern so that our members in all six time zones can participate conveniently. Reception and social time sessions will take place on select days at 5:00pm. Sessions will be recorded for later viewing.

In attendance will be key influencers for nonprofits: state association CEOs, board members, membership directors, communications specialists, and public policy staff from across the country.

Over the course of the two weeks, there will be special events on the wonder.me platform where sponsors and attendees can connect face-to-face, with incentives and prizes for attendees who interact with all sponsors.

Don't miss the enthusiastic testimonials from our sponsor community at the bottom of this page!

Sponsor logos and links will appear:

• On the members-only Confab website, pre- and post-event
• In event materials and on the online agenda
• In Virtual Exhibit Hall (videos may also be posted)
• During recognition of all sponsors at the welcome session
• In approximately six announcements sent to 300+ nonprofit influencers
• In public recognition via e-newsletter (36,000+) and social media (37,000+)

Confab Engagement Fund

"Add-On" Donation
$250+

Donations to the CE Fund enable scholarships to help defray the cost of travel to the Confab for state association staff members. The intent is to make it equally affordable for all our network members to engage in this critical in-person convening, no matter where they’re located or what their budget size.

All sponsors are invited to contribute an “add-on” donation of $250 or more to support the Fund. Donors will be acknowledged at the Confab with a special ribbon on their name badge and recognition from the podium.

Praise from our sponsors from past Confabs:

  • "It is great to have face time with our long-term state partners and to have an opportunity to meet with new staff members that may be attending the Confab for the first time. It gives me the opportunity to discuss the value of our member benefit and to go over the finer points like how state associations earn quarterly royalties when their members use our service. We look forward to participating every year.... We wouldn’t miss it!"
--Art Ferreira, Coeus Global, Event Sponsor 2014 - 2020

  • "I can't think of any other conference we go to where we have been kept so informed with logistics and such - great work! We, of course, will always be there to support the network and appreciate all that you do at the National Council of Nonprofits to support the good work being done around the country. Congrats on a very successful meeting."
    --Donna H. Groh, UST

  • “You put on a great conference for your members. It was great to see first-hand how people in leadership positions at the associations operate and communicate with each other. Connecting with the other vendors was a huge bonus as well. I so appreciate all of the long hours, sweat and fine details that your team put towards the Confab. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again next year.”
    --Brendan McDaniel, Firespring"

  • "It's not often I leave a conference feeling as welcomed and motivated as I did on Friday night! The National Council of Nonprofits provides such a welcoming environment for exhibitors and sponsors; Derreck and I felt more like family than vendors. So thank you for an incredible two days! Nonstop can't wait to come back next year."
--Jody Schreffler, Nonstop Wellness (Jody is pictured at left with her colleagues Derreck Smith and Stephanie Austin. They had dinner with state association partners on Thursday of the 2018 Confab, at a local sports bar -- while the Washington Capitals were becoming Stanley Cup Champions for the first time in the club's 44-year history!)

  • "Thanks to you and your hard-working staff for pulling off a great conference. Awesome food, venue, programs, and organization. It’s a privilege to get to work with nonprofits and their associations, and with all of you. Looking forward to next year!"
    --Dana Campbell, Affinity Fundraising Registration

  • "Great work to all! I loved the speakers, coffee bar, meditation session (keep this going), the venue and just being in the company of such good hearted persons!  I am a huge fan of the Council and 'lifer'!"
--Michael R. Marsh, The Northern Trust Company

  • "It was a wonderful conference! You have a great group of attendees and I always feel so welcomed as a sponsor. Looking forward to next year!!"
    --David Webb, QuickBooks Made Easy
