Communications Programs and Contests

Many companies offer special programs designed specifically for nonprofit communications. Most require a nonprofit to complete a simple application process in order to have access to their programs.

DoGooder Nonprofit Video Awards

The DoGooder Nonprofit Video Awards is an annual contest run by See3 Communications in partnership with YouTube and sponsored by the Case Foundation and NTEN.

Google Grants

Google offers many tools to nonprofits, including access to complimentary advertising on its AdWords platform through the Google Grants program. Promote your website, services or programs and reach your target audience with a Google Grant.

NTEN Nonprofit Technology Network

NTEN is the membership organization of nonprofit professionals who put technology to use for their causes. In addition to holding an annual conference, NTEN has weekly webinars, new reports and a variety of resources available on their website.

Tagline Awards

To guide and motivate nonprofits to strengthen their taglines, Nancy Schwartz holds an annual Getting Attention Nonprofit Tagline Awards (a.k.a. The Taggies) to recognize large and small organizations that have earned top honors for their attention-getting taglines, demonstrating again that an organization of any size can craft a powerful, pithy motto to build awareness and connect with its key audiences.

TechSoup

TechSoup is a nonprofit that helps other nonprofits and public libraries get the technology resources they need to operate at their full potential. They offer free resources such as articles, blogs, webinars, and forums led by expert hosts. And once qualified with TechSoup, organizations can access almost 450 products and services, including high-quality refurbished hardware and software from 45 donor partners like Microsoft, Adobe, Intuit, and Symantec.
