State Issues Listing

The National Council of Nonprofits works with its state nonprofit association members to track key state and local public policy issues of interest to most 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofits. By monitoring trends and sharing information (sometimes through the Members Only section of the website), the Council of Nonprofit’s network helps organizations support each other in advancing helpful policies - and stopping proposals that could harm the charitable sector.
