Alliance of Arizona NonprofitsArizona non-profits had their best year in 2011 since the recession hit, but that may not be saying much for some of the state's non-profit organizations.

The Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits today releases its report, "Borderline: Hope and Concern for Arizona Nonprofits."

The annual report looks at how the tough economy continues to affect the state's non-profit agencies.

"A lot of organizations are still struggling," said Patrick McWhortor, president and CEO of the alliance. "Some parts of the sector are doing quite poorly."
