Charity Inc.: ‘Thank you for your time’

This summer, we have been lucky enough to have some hardworking interns volunteering for us. We typically like to take on as many as we can handle, because what nonprofit couldn’t use the extra help?

I think our intern program is one of the best around. We try to provide them with something interesting and relevant to do, and their work directly impacts the success of the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits.

Managing interns does come with its challenges. In order to take them on, a lot of planning must go into developing projects that fit their time commitment, interests and talents. You must do your work before they can do theirs.
