Ways Businesses Can Support the National Council of Nonprofits

The National Council of Nonprofits welcomes the support of business leaders to help advance the effectiveness and vitality of the nonprofit sector. We strongly encourage local and single-state businesses to model corporate citizenship by supporting their state nonprofit association.

For national and regional businesses interested in supporting a broader array of nonprofits through the National Council of Nonprofits, we appreciate your interest. Your support will help the National Council of Nonprofits:

• Raise public awareness about the vital work of nonprofits;
• Share knowledge about leadership and collaboration, best operational practices and policies, and all aspects of organizational capacity building;
• Amplify the voices of nonprofits from across the country on public policy issues that impact nonprofits (such as health care for nonprofit employees); and
• Link nonprofits with their counterparts in their own state and across the nation, to help them achieve greater impact in their communities.

Be a Corporate Supporter

Philanthropic support from foundations, individuals, and corporations enables the National Council to serve the largest network of nonprofits in the country. Leadership gifts from businesses can be paired with opportunities to underwrite Special Reports, informational toolkits, webinars, or specialized website content areas. Corporate Sponsors may also underwrite and have a presence at special convenings, such as our Annual Member Meeting. There are many possibilities that we would be pleased to explore with you. Leadership gifts are recognized by special acknowledgments as well as a listing with logo on the National Council’s website.

Be a Corporate Ally

The National Council’s Corporate Allies provide significant annual support through charitable contributions and gifts of in kind goods and services. The National Council of Nonprofits acknowledges the contributions of all businesses, but Corporate Allies receive special acknowledgements as well as a name and logo listing on the National Council’s website. Corporate Allies are also eligible for discounts on exhibiting and advertising opportunities connected with National Council convenings and special events.
